Abia Daughters UK & Ireland is a registered community organisation founded by women of Abia State parentage living in the United Kingdom and Ireland. We exist to empower indigent widows and vulnerable children in Abia State through education, vocational training, business support and community care.
Our programmes serve indigent widows and vulnerable children primarily across Abia State, Nigeria. Beneficiaries include women seeking to establish sustainable businesses, children in need of educational sponsorship, and families facing emergency hardship. We also extend support to communities through skills acquisition initiatives.
You can donate securely through our website by clicking the “Donate” button in the navigation bar. We accept one-time and recurring monthly donations. You can also donate via bank transfer or get in touch with us directly for other giving options.
Every donation is directed towards our four core areas: sponsoring children’s school fees, uniforms and books; providing start-up capital and trade tools to widows; funding vocational apprenticeship programmes; and delivering emergency relief to families in crisis. We are committed to full transparency in how funds are allocated.
